About Megan

I am a registered psychotherapist working in Toronto, supporting individuals who are experiencing grief and loss of all kinds.

I received my clinical training in counselling and psychotherapy from University of Toronto, OISE. I draw upon many therapeutic traditions, including emotion-focused therapy, mindfulness, acceptance and commitment therapy and narrative therapy.

I am guided by the Companioning philosophy of Alan Wolfelt. I achieved my certificate in Grief and Death Studies from Wolfelt's Center for Loss and Life Transition.

Most of all, I am also a bereaved person. I learned quickly, in the wake of my own loss, the importance of speaking to someone who "gets it". I redirected my life towards walking the road of grief with others, having come to know it so intimately. It would be my honour to learn from you about your grief and to witness your love story.

Grief Support

"There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are the messengers of overwhelming grief, of deep contrition, and of unspeakable love."
- Washington Irving
